English Language Training in the Context of Career Development and Employee Competence in Faculty of Medicine UNS

A total of 47 education staffs in the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sebelas Maret (FK UNS) began to take part in English Language Training (Placement class test). The first training was held on Tuesday (26/01/2021) at the FK UNS auditorium building. This training aimed to further optimize the ability to communicate using English, especially office communication and in services to foreign students or foreign guests who would come or visit FK UNS.

Vitri Widyaningsih, dr., MS, Ph.D., Head of Family Medicine Master Program, Faculty of Medicine Universitas Sebelas Maret (FK UNS), in a virtual webinar with the theme Maintaining Mental Health in Adolescents, revealed that parents, teachers, adults should step together so that the teenagers are not only physically healthy but also mentally healthy.

The inauguration of the Students Organization (Ormawa) Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sebelas Maret (FK UNS) which was conducted online and offline on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the FK UNS Auditorium attended by Paramasari Dirgahayu, dr., Ph.D. as Vice Dean of Academic, Research, and Student Affairs FK UNS and representatives of the leaders and administrators of the new Ormawa (offline), as well as being attended by dean officials, lecturers, and students (online).

At the end of September 2020, a webinar event with the topic Staying Sane and Fit during the Covid-19 Pandemic was held by the Medical Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sebelas Maret (FK UNS) with participants consisted of lecturers and other participants. This webinar presented two speakers, one of them was Prof. Dr. Hartono, dr., M.Si. as the Director of the UNS Hospital (RS UNS) in his topic of reducing stress and increasing immunity with exercise.

An Online Seminar on Nutrition for Pregnant Women

The seminar organized by the Indonesian Obstetrics and Gynecology Association in Surakarta (POGI) had been held for the umpteenth time. One of the events was held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 started at 09.00 (Western Indonesian Time) by the Obstetrics and Gynecology of Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sebelas Maret (Obsgyn FK UNS), Regional General Hospital Dr. Moewardi (RSDM), and POGI Surakarta. This event was attended by 1626 peers through the Zoom applications and Youtube.
