The Community Service Team of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist Study Program (PPDS Obgyn) Faculty of Medicine Universitas Sebelas Maret (FK UNS), held a public seminar on Saturday (June 6, 2026) to prevent postpartum depression and baby blues syndrome. The seminar aimed to prevent postpartum depression and baby blues syndrome in mothers after childbirth, thus ensuring healthy mothers and happy babies.

This team consists of staffs and students of PPDS Obgyn FK UNS, namely: Prof. Dr. dr. Sri Sulistyowati, Sp.OG, Subsp. KFm; Dr. dr. M. Adrianes Bachnas, Sp.OG, Subsp. KFm; Dr. dr. Nutria Widya Purna Anggraini, Sp.OG, Subsp. KFm, M.Kes; dr. Eric Edwin Yuliantara, Sp.OG, Subsp. KFm; dr. Wisnu Prabowo, Sp.OG, Subsp. KFm; dr. Robert Ridwan, SpOG, Subsp KFm; Dr. dr. Supriyadi Hari Respati, Sp.OG, Subsp. Obgynsos; Dr. dr. Hafi Nurinasari, Sp.OG, M.Kes; dr. Lini Astetri, Sp. OG, dr. Sarah Monica Simaremare; dr. Aninditya Verinda Putrinadia; dr. Yogi Pratama Mustaram; Dr. Lysnindia Raki Larinta; Dr. Mita Desma Yeta; Dr. Dwi Pratika Anjarwati; and Dr. Novia Damara.

The seminar, titled "Recognizing Baby Blues and Postpartum Depression," covered the introduction of baby blues and postpartum depression, as well as prevention and the role of families before and after childbirth. The event, held at the Wijayakusuma Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, Dr. Moewardi Hospital, Surakarta, began at 9:00 a.m. and was attended by pregnant and postpartum women and their families.

This activity is expected to improve mental health literacy for postpartum mothers and encourage early detection of psychological disorders after childbirth. The seminar included an interactive discussion and a question-and-answer session to strengthen participants' understanding.
