Prof. Fitria hopes that this graduation moment will not be a moment to stop learning, but rather a starting point to continue improving your competency and dedicating your knowledge.

"This specialist doctor title is the result of all of your hard work, high dedication, extraordinary perseverance, and strong commitment over several years of education. He also stated that the true learning process will occur when you serve the community.

"Because learning in this community is a life lesson that is far more important than academic learning, where you will all be required to develop soft skills and character. You will also be required to learn and understand how to interact with colleagues, staff, patients, and the wider community," Prof. Fitria said.

In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, UNS, Prof. Reviono, urged the newly inaugurated specialist doctors to carry out their roles as professional doctors.

"As doctors, we must carry out this profession professionally. There are elements within this professionalism: first, competence. You have been given competent knowledge and have also been tested and have passed the required competencies. This competence must be maintained. Second, responsibility; we must be accountable for our work. Then, there are specific elements, such as patient safety, which are also included in the components of professionalism," he explained.

Furthermore, Prof. Reviono also advised the new specialist doctors, now alumni, to uphold the good name of UNS and continue to maintain good relations with both colleagues and their alma mater.
