UNS Faculty of Medicine Graduates 12 Specialist and Sub-Specialist Doctors at the November 2025 Graduate Program


 

The Faculty of Medicine (FK) of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, through its Specialist Doctor Education Program (PPDS), once again graduated new specialist and subspecialist doctors for the November 2025 term. The event was held in the FK UNS Auditorium on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, and broadcast live on the FK UNS YouTube channel.

The event was attended by the Dean of the FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K); the vice deans of the FK UNS; the Deputy Director of Education and Research at UNS Hospital, Prof. Dr. Diah Kurnia Mirawati, dr., Sp.S(K); the Deputy Director of Human Resources and Education at Dr. Moewardi Regional Hospital, Dr. Fatichati Budiningsih, Sp.PD(K); the Acting Director of Human Resources, Education, and Research at RSOP, Dina Sintia Pamela, S.Si. Apt., M.Farm; and the Deputy Chairperson I of the FK UNS Alumni Family, Dr. Adji Suwandono, dr., S.H., Sp.FM; and all Heads of the PPDS Study Program, FK UNS.

Based on the academic report read by the Vice Dean for Academic and Research at the Faculty of Medicine, UNS, Prof. Dr. Eti Poncorini Pamungkasari, dr., M.Pd., the Faculty of Medicine, UNS, this time released 12 PPDS students: 4 graduates from the Internal Medicine Study Program (Prodi), 3 graduates from the Internal Medicine Subspecialty Study Program, 2 graduates from the Dermatology and Venereology Study Program, 2 graduates from the Psychiatry Study Program, and 1 graduate from the Pediatric Health Study Program.

The graduation ceremony featured the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) achieved by Dr. Evi Nurhayatun, dr., Sp.PD., Subsp.P.T.I.K(K)., FINASIM., FISQua from the Internal Medicine Subspecialty Study Program with a GPA of 3.98. Meanwhile, the youngest graduate is Farha Naily Fawzia, dr., Sp.PD., from the Internal Medicine Study Program, who completed her specialist doctor education at the age of 29 years and 9 months.

Dr. Adji Suwandono, Deputy Chair I of the UNS Medical Faculty Alumni Association, urged alumni to maintain the values of camaraderie among themselves in facing the various challenges and dynamics ahead.

"We must strive for camaraderie and establish collaborations and networks that are essential. Maintain the good name of our alma mater and demonstrate that UNS graduates are competent and ethical. The challenges ahead are clear, with 2026 likely to bring different mechanisms for administering the National Health Insurance and various other changes. However, I am confident that UNS Medical Faculty graduates will be capable of producing outstanding results. Be doctors who treat others with respect," he said.

Dr. Fatichati, Deputy Director of Human Resources and Education at Dr. Moewardi Regional Hospital, hopes that these graduates will quickly adapt and adjust to their workplaces, embracing various challenges and limitations.

"We hope that all of you can become part of the solution to various problems in the hospitals where you work. In addition to adapting to service delivery, you must also develop other skills, such as communication skills, and build strong networks with fellow alumni, other specialists, and hospital management," she said.

In his remarks, Prof. Reviono, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, UNS, stated that specialist graduates are expected to be impartial in carrying out their roles as doctors, as they are bound by their professional oath.

"You will all soon return to society. There's no need to be picky about what work you do, as long as it's done well, it will certainly benefit society and humanity," he said.

With the graduation of specialist doctors in November 2025, since its founding in 1976, the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Negeri Surabaya (FK UNS) has graduated 2,118 specialist doctors. These graduates have spread and dedicated their knowledge to various fields, including healthcare, education, research, and government and private institutions throughout Indonesia.
