Paragonian Bergerak x SEKOCI: Free Checkups and Education on Motherhood to Create Healthy Mothers and Happy Toddlers

Dozens of pregnant women and mothers with toddlers enthusiastically filled DNA Spot Café Surakarta on Sunday morning (October 26, 2025). They participated in the "Paragonian Moves for Healthy Mothers and Happy Toddlers" activity, an ongoing initiative by PT Paragon Technology and Innovation, in collaboration with the Complementary School of Mother's Love (SEKOCI) community, and lecturers from the Bachelor of Midwifery and Midwifery Professional Education program at the Faculty of Medicine (FK) of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS). The program offered free health checks and consultations for mothers and children.
The warm atmosphere was palpable from the beginning of the event. The mothers interacted with doctors and health workers, receiving blood pressure and blood sugar checks, and consultations on toddler development.
In addition to healthcare services, participants also received useful souvenirs as a token of appreciation and support for their family's health. These included: Pregnant women received yoga mats and prenatal vitamins; while toddlers received mats, Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO), telon oil, baby oil, sunscreen, biscuits, and milk.
"We are very pleased because Paragonian not only provides education but also provides tangible facilities that support our health and that of our children," said one participant, a mother of a toddler.

A Continuation of Loving Education at Loji Gandrung
This free check-up and consultation activity is a continuation of the SEKOCI educational session held on October 18, 2025, at the Loji Gandrung Pendopo in Surakarta. The previous event focused on improving maternal capacity through interactive learning, relaxation, and social support.
With the theme "Healthy Mothers, Happy Toddlers," this event was attended by dozens of pregnant women and mothers of toddlers, and featured a variety of engaging sessions:

Participants Claim Valuable Experience
"I used to be anxious and had trouble sleeping during my pregnancy. After yoga and learning relaxation techniques, I felt calmer and more prepared for childbirth," said one participant in the prenatal class.
Support also came from the Surakarta City Government and the Surakarta City Health Office, who considered the program an example of effective cross-sector collaboration in strengthening promotive and preventive services.
"SEKOCI and Paragonian are working in line with the city's commitment to building a healthy and child-friendly family ecosystem," said a representative from the Health Office.
Synergy for Sustainable Impact
The Paragonian Movement with SEKOCI is a manifestation of collaboration between the government, academics, communities, healthcare workers, the private sector, and the media. This activity demonstrates that social innovation can grow from empathy and collaborative work.
This activity received praise from Deputy Mayor Astrid Widayani, who said in her remarks, "We appreciate the SEKOCI initiative as an inspiring model for empowering mothers and families. This program aligns with the Surakarta City Government's commitment to strengthening maternal and child health and mental health services. This kind of collaboration needs to continue to expand so that Surakarta becomes a healthy, mother- and child-friendly city."
Through the spirit of "Healthy Mothers, Happy Toddlers," Paragon and SEKOCI are committed to continuously presenting social activities that are inspiring, empowering, and have a real impact on Indonesian families, building a healthy, strong, and loving generation.
