The Executive Board (PB) of the Indonesian Anatomists Association (PAAI) in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine (FK) of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) as the host held the National Scientific Meeting (PIN) and the National Working Meeting (Rakernas) of PAAI 2025. This year's theme is "Beyond Anatomy: Enhancing Innovation and Collaboration in Anatomy Education and Research" as a manifestation of enthusiasm in developing the science of Anatomy. The science of Anatomy is not only the basis of medical science but also continues to grow and develop and synergize with other fields of science, both basic science, clinical science and its application in society.

This year's PIN activities consist of the Pre-PIN Workshop, namely the "Animal Model in Alzheimer's Disease's" and "3D Model in Anatomy and Medicine" workshops on September 30-October 1, 2025 at the Faculty of Medicine, UNS. Followed by a Symposium opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr, SpP (K), taking place on October 2-3, 2025 with the material Development of Histology Anatomy Education, Herbal Medicine, Neuroscience and Oncology Update by presenting speakers from within and outside the country at the Harris Hotel and Convention Center Solo.

The 2025 PAAI PIN event was attended by over 300 participants from across Indonesia. Starting this year, the PAAI Anatomy and Histology Expertise Award and the BAKTI Anatomy Award were also reinstated. They are expected to further encourage all members to contribute to and develop Indonesian Histology and Anatomy. In addition to scientific and organizational activities, there was also a Galla Dinner and City Tour to foster camaraderie and strengthen brotherhood among PAAI members.

The event was supported by various sponsors from the healthcare industry, medical education, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Dr. Nanang Wiyono, M.Kes., from the Anatomy Laboratory, Faculty of Medicine, UNS, as the committee chair, stated, "We hope that the 2025 PAAI PIN will be an inspiring and productive event, strengthening brotherhood and camaraderie, and enhancing collaboration across institutions and generations."

Dr. Nur Arfian, PhD, Chair of the Indonesian Academy of Sciences (PAAI), stated that "Beyond Anatomy," as the theme for PIN PAAI 2025, is special because it challenges us to transcend boundaries and find perspectives for collaboration and integration of anatomy and histology with other disciplines. This will further enhance the benefits of anatomy and histology.

"This theme will also encourage innovation in anatomy and histology in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in the era of digitalization, transformation of education and health, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Linked to the scientific expertise of anatomy and histology, this event will be our starting point to collectively make PAAI a forum and platform for self-development, a place for learning, and sharing," Dr. Nur Arfian explained.
