"The topics that we will study later include guidelines and screening for pre-eclampsia, pre-maturity, fetal brain examination, heart examination, we will provide them in depth up to the latest references," he explained.
"Then various techniques that show the development of ultrasound technology that support the improvement of our diagnostic accuracy in cases not only obstetrics, but also urogynecology, oncology-gynecology and fertility cases. Don't forget about ethics and policies in ultrasound, this is very important because we should not only focus on knowledge and skills and then forget about ethical issues," he continued.
According to him, this activity is expected to improve the knowledge and competence of doctors in Indonesia.
"Hopefully, the method provided internationally can improve our competency standards so that Indonesian doctors have competency qualifications that are equal to international doctors," he said.
Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P (K) in his speech strongly supports this science-based activity.
"As the leader of FK UNS, I certainly support this kind of activity because this kind of activity is our effort to improve competence in the clinical field, especially ultrasonography, and this is also an effort from POGI (Indonesian Obstetrics and Gynecology Association) to its members to continue to meet the standards set by POGI," he said.

He also did not forget to express his appreciation because this activity also held a free paper competition which was attended by participants from various universities in Indonesia.
"Then I also express my gratitude for this activity because it does not leave the academic atmosphere by holding a free paper competition, where the free paper conveys interesting things according to the author and it can be a sharing medium whether it is a research or it is a based practice in a case. This is one of the characteristics of the academic climate of FK UNS which always encourages its students to continue to develop their scientific knowledge, one of which is through the free paper competition," he said.
The activity which lasted for two days was not only filled with material presentations by the speakers but also there were live demo and hands-on sessions so that participants could be directly shown techniques in utilizing ultrasound technology.
