The Faculty of Medicine (FK) of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) held the Inauguration and Handover of the Chairperson of the Student Organization (Ormawa) FK UNS for the 2025 Period on Thursday (3/1/2025). The activity, which was held at the FK UNS Auditorium, was attended by the Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K) along with the vice deans, Ormawa supervisors and heads of Student Activity Units for the 2024 and 2025 periods.

A total of 19 Student Activity Units (UKM) at FK UNS changed management after the term of office of the old management had expired. One of the changes was the position of Chairperson of the Student Executive Board (BEM) from Auxana Qudsi as Chairperson of BEM for the 2024 period to M. Iyad Madani as Chairperson of BEM for the 2025 period.

Auxana Qudsi expressed his gratitude for the support given during his duties.

"On behalf of the 2024 BEM management, I would like to express my gratitude for the support that has been given to us in carrying out our mandate so far. To the new BEM Chair, I entrust the spirit and ideals of BEM to be even better and bring positive changes and progress to FK UNS in the future," Auxana said.

M. Iyad Madani, Chair of BEM FK UNS for the 2025 period, in his remarks thanked him for the trust that had been given to him to carry out the mandate as Chair of BEM FK UNS for the 2025 period.

"This handover procession is not just a ceremony or administrative matter but is a symbol of the continuation of the struggle. This is the starting point to unite our vision and mission to make FK UNS even more successful," he said.

The Dean of FK UNS in his remarks said that student organizations are a place for students to practice organizing.

"This student organization is a place for students to explore themselves, practice organizing and achieve achievements in accordance with their respective fields. As the chairperson, all of you who are elected have a difficult task to develop the organization that you lead as well as encourage achievements in your organization," he said.

Prof. Reviono also expressed his appreciation to the 2024 student organization administrators who have devoted themselves to manage various student activities at FK UNS.

"Of course, as a leader at FK UNS, I am very grateful and appreciate the hard work of the previous administrators because they have dedicated themselves, spent their time, energy and thoughts to manage various activities, both academic and non-academic," Prof. Reviono said.

He advised the 2025 student organization administrators to continue to improve themselves and use the evaluation of the previous management period as learning material so that the new management period can achieve more brilliant achievements.
