Entrepreneurship Expert Lecture FK UNS “Doctorpreneur? Why not?”
Doctorpreneur is a term often used for the profession of doctors who are also active in the business field, both medical and non-medical. A doctorpreneur develops soft skills as a five-star doctor in various business fields, for example culinary business, travel business, health service business and others. The profile of a doctorpreneur is increasingly popular today, especially in the era of social media that has no time limits and connectivity.
In response to this, on Saturday (11/31/2024) at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Medicine (FK) of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), an expert lecture was held on doctorpreneur, with the topic "Doctorpreneur? Why not?". This expert lecture brought in two doctorpreneur figures who have been involved in the business world.
The first speaker is Dr. Muhammad Husen Prabowo, dr., MPH. who has various businesses, both primary clinics and culinary businesses in the Klaten area and its surroundings. He, who is also the chairman of the FK UNS Alumni Family, shared stories about the principles and self-development of a doctor and entrepreneur. The second speaker is dr. Anisa Charismawati, an alumnus of FK UNS who is successful in the skincare and beauty clinic business which is well-known on various digital platforms in the health sector. She provided material on tips and steps to becoming a young entrepreneur, which can be started by students with minimal capital. dr. Anisa also talked about the role of social media for personal branding as an important step to enter the world of entrepreneurship in this digital era.

This activity was attended by students of study programs, medical study programs, medical professions, midwifery and PPDS. They looked very enthusiastic in participating in this event, seen from the various questions raised to the two speakers starting from tips on starting a career at a young age, the use of social media, and obstacles or barriers faced. At the end of the session, the event became even more lively with various prizes being distributed by the speakers.
