The Internal Medicine Subspecialist Study Program of FK UNS Undergoes Accreditation Field Assessment from LAM-PTKes
The Internal Medicine Subspecialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) underwent a field assessment process from LAM-PTKes assessors on 30-31 May 2024. In this field assessment, LAM-PTKes assigned Prof. Dr. Dr. Maimun Syukri, Sp.PD, K-GH, FINASIM and Dr. Dr. Yenny Kandarini, Sp.PD, K-GH, FINASIM to become an assessor in the Internal Medicine Subspecialty Study Program, FK UNS.
The two assessors were accepted by Acting Officer UNS Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ahmad Yunus, M.S; Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K); Vice deans at FK UNS; and Head of the Internal Medicine Subspecialist Study Program, FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Bambang Purwanto, dr., Sp.PD-KGH., FINASIM in the Rector's Meeting Room, dr. Prakosa UNS.

Prof. Yunus in his speech said that UNS continues to be committed to developing itself and improving quality.
"Thank God, after changing to PTNBH, the development of UNS continues to improve in quality. If we refer to the Main Performance Indicators, UNS is ranked 2nd nationally and for the Faculty of Medicine, UNS itself is ranked 3rd for the best Medical Faculty in Indonesia according to the ranking from Times Higher Education," Prof. Yunus said.
On this occasion Prof. Yunus also conveyed several advantages of the Internal Medicine Subspecialist Study Program FK UNS and hoped that with this field assessment he could obtain various useful input.
"The Internal Medicine Sub-Specialty Study Program is the first Sub-specialist study program at UNS, therefore we hope that we can always be guided and directed so that the running of this study program can continue to be good and get better," he hoped.
After being received by the university leadership, the two assessors along with the faculty and study program leaders headed to the FK UNS auditorium to undergo the field assessment process.
Dean of the Faculty of Medicine UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K) hopes that this activity can run smoothly and can get results that will benefit everyone.

"Hopefully the assessment from these assessors can bring benefits and progress, especially for the internal medicine subspecialty study program and generally for us at FK UNS," Prof. Reviono said.
The assessor representative, Prof. Maimun in his speech hoped that all documents and field assessment results would be in accordance with what had been previously reported.
"We, together with Dr. Yeny, were assigned by LAM-PTKes to photograph what is in this study program. Then we will convey the results to the LAM-PTKes Council. This accreditation is actually guidance from LAM-PTKes for study programs to see what shortcomings they still have so that improvements can be made to make them better in the future," he said.
After listening to the presentation from the Dean of FK UNS and the Head of the Study Program and conducting questions and answers, the two assessors conducted interviews with lecturers regarding lecturer adequacy figures and the learning curriculum provided to students, apart from that, interviews were also conducted with student representatives regarding academic and non-academic services. Interviews were also conducted with alumni users from the Internal Medicine Subspecialist Study Program.
The two assessors also visited dr. Moewardi Hospital to see learning process and various facilities provided by the main teaching hospital for students of the Internal Medicine Subspecialist Study Program of FK UNS.

The closing of this field assessment activity was marked by the signing and handing over of the event report file from the assessor to the Head of Internal Medicine Subspecialist Study Program followed by a group photo.
