The Doctoral Program of Medical Sciences Study (PSIK) Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) held a Halalbihalal event for Eid Al-Fitr 1445 H and Alumni Gathering on Saturday (11/52024) in the UNS Tower Ballroom. This activity was attended by the Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K), FISR; Head of PSIK Doctoral Program FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Soetrisno, dr., Sp.OG(K); Chairman of the FK UNS PSIK Doctoral Alumni Association, Dr. Heru Priyanto, dr., Sp.OG(K) Onk; all students and alumni from all FK UNS PSIK Doctoral Classes.

The activity with the theme "PSIK S3 FK UNS Tetap Jaya dan Guyub Rukun sak Lawase" aimed to build networking and collaboration between the academic community as well as forming a friendship forum with alumni and providing motivation to support the success of student studies.

The activity began with the chanting of the holy verses of the Qur'an recited by dr. Mohamad Rif'an Maulana, student of the FK UNS Paediatric Specialist Education Program who won 1st place in the 2023 FK UNS Medical Quran Festival competition.

Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Reviono in his speech said that the Eid al-Fitr holiday is a momentum for change for the better.

"We must make good use of this momentum, including for PSIK Doctoral Program FK UNS. Because since it was founded in 2011, this study program has produced a number of graduates who are qualified in the national and international arena. Moreover, FK UNS is now ranked 3rd in the best medical faculties in Indonesia," he said.

Next, Dr. Heru Priyanto, dr., Sp.OG(K) Onk as Chairman of the PSIK FK UNS Alumni Association handed over 65 uniforms for the FK UNS PSIK S3 Accreditation Team, and a sports corner in the FK UNS S3 Lecture Building.

After that, all the attendees took the halalbihalal pledge led by Prof. Dr. Trisulo Wasyanto, dr., Sp.JP(K), FIHA, FAPSC, FAsCC.

The event closed with a sermon delivered by Ustadz Umaier Khaz, Lc., M.H. He said that this activity was a momentum to achieve the love and blessing of Allah SWT sincerely. After that, the event continued with friendly hospitality and group photos.
