Acting Officer of UNS Rector Visits UTBK SNBT 2024 Activity at FK UNS


 

The Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) is one of the venues for holding the Computer Based Written Examination (UTBK) National Selection Test (SNBT). This exam is divided into 2 sessions, session 1 starting on April 30 2024 to May 7 2024 while session 2 starts on May 14 2024 and is scheduled to finish on May 20 2024.

In session 1, 2224 participants will take the exam at the FK UNS Computer Based Test (CBT) Laboratory and in session 2, 1566 participants will take the exam at the same place.

On the first day of this exam, Acting Officer of UNS Rector, Dr. Chatarina Muliana, S.H., S.E., accompanied by Acting Officer of Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ahmad Yunus, M.S. and Head of UPT SPMB UNS, Prof. Dr. Ir. Hadiwiyono, M.Si carried out direct monitoring at various exam locations.

One of the exam locations that was visited was the FK UNS CBT Laboratory. Delivered by Acting Officer of Vice Dean for Human Resources, Finance and Logistics FK UNS, Dr. Diah Kurnia Mirawati, dr., Sp.S(K) that during the exam session this morning, out of 160 participants, there were several participants who did not take the exam.

"For this morning's exam session, out of 160 registered participants, there were 7 participants who did not attend the exam with details from CBT A lab, out of 80 registered participants, 5 participants did not attend and from CBT B lab, out of 80 registered participants, there were 2 participants who did not attend the exam," she explained.

Acting Officer of UNS Rector, Dr. Chatarina Muliana expressed her appreciation to the exam organizing committee at FK UNS who had prepared the facilities and infrastructure very well to support the implementation of the exam this time.

"I saw the facilities and infrastructure, the rooms, thank God, they are quite adequate, even in each room we have also prepared computer backups if there is a problem with the computer being used. "The room temperature is also comfortable enough for participants to undergo the exam process well," she explained.

It was further stated that various facilities have been prepared for participants with disabilities to support the smoothness and comfort of participants in taking the exam.

"For disabled participants with 5 participants who will take the exam on Thursday, we have also adjusted and prepared so that later we hope that all participants can take part and carry out the exam process according to the required requirements," she said.

On this occasion he also appealed to the public, especially exam participants, not to be tempted by offers from irresponsible parties about guarantees of passing SNBT but having to pay a certain amount of money.

"The first thing, of course, is that the implementation of SNBT is carried out in an accountable and transparent manner, so don't believe in promises, because this process through the central committee and ministries has been implemented using a transparent mechanism. So once again, don't believe that if someone makes an offer, they will definitely accept it by giving some money," she said.
