The 2024 Sharing Success Story event was attended by FK UNS deans, alumni of FK UNS Class of 1986, family administrators of FK UNS alumni and FK UNS students.

In his speech, the Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K) said that the position of alumni is very important because it influences the reputation of FK UNS both in accreditation and world rankings, one of which is the contribution of alumni, regarding international collaboration and international recognition.

"We entrust the great name of FK UNS so that it can always be maintained, always elevated because this is your alma mater, the place where you used to study," he said.

Head of the FK UNS Alumni Family, dr. Sri Pratomo, SpB., FinaCS., FiCS in his speech conveyed 4 things that a person must do in order to achieve success.

"The first is to be consistent, the second is that success only belongs to the individual who is responsible, the third is to make sure you are surrounded by people with the same vision, the fourth is to try to focus on the process, not the goal," he mentioned.

According to him, to be successful, a person must be multi-talented, willing to learn from all levels and learn anything in order to master more knowledge.

In telling the story of his life's journey, Maj. Gen. TNI Pujowaskito emphasized not to give up easily and to always be enthusiastic in seizing every available opportunity. Don't use weaknesses as weaknesses, but as encouragement to become a better person.

"Success is a process because in the success stage there is input and output, so the input and output belong to God Almighty, the process there is effort and prayer. "When I talk about output, what I mean is that if I can get the blessing of Almighty God and my existence can be useful for many people," he explained.

"However, if I talk about input then we cannot choose what kind of family we want to be born into, what country we want to be born in, it all belongs to God Almighty. If we really realize this, success here is a journey from the achievement we planned to the next achievement," he added.

According to him, one of the factors that support success is whether there are many colleagues or networks, because with more networks, success will be easier to achieve. “In my work, I view my colleagues as those with whom I must collaborate. "Collaboration here is like putting together a puzzle, if we collaborate together to put together an image, even though it is initially scattered, but because we have the same vision, the same image, it will be easier to complete the work," he said.

For him, in collaborating there is no competition because there is only contribution, how can we give our best for the same goal.
