It was further explained that the reason behind choosing the location for planting rare trees in each faculty was to be closer to the professors' activity areas, making it easier for the professors to care for the trees they had planted.

Acting Officer UNS Rector, Dr. Chatarina really appreciated this tree planting event. Apart from keeping the campus green and beautiful, it also has a philosophical meaning, namely as a commitment to continue working to impart knowledge. This was done by the academic community through teaching to students, applicable research, and community service.

"I believe that achieving professorship is not the final goal, but is an intermediate goal to become more productive and innovative in implementing the tri dharma of higher education," she added.

The Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Reviono hoped that this tree planting can further increase the diversity of flora in the FK UNS environment.

"This is very positive, apart from having a deep philosophical meaning, planting this tree will definitely increase the number of tree species in the FK UNS environment. The campus will be greener and cooler, making it more comfortable as a place to study for students," he said.
