FK UNS Extends Cooperation Agreement with PT. Prodia Widyahusada Tbk.
Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) and PT. Prodia Widyahusada Tbk has again extended the cooperation between the two parties. This activity was marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement which was carried out on Monday (19/02/2024).
Taking place in the Soetjipto Building Hall of FK UNS, this activity was attended by the Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K); Acting Officer Vice Dean for Human Resources, Finance and Logistics FK UNS, Dr. Diah Kurnia Mirawati, dr., Sp.S(K); Acting Officer Vice Dean for Planning, Business Cooperation and Information, Dr. Selfi Handayani, dr., M.Kes; Prodia Business and Marketing Director, Dr. Indriyanti Rafi Sukmawati M.Si and her staff.
Before the cooperation signing procession was carried out, this activity began with a seminar with the theme 'Medical Research Development Strategy' which was attended by three speakers, namely Dr. Ratih Dewi Yudhani, dr., M.Sc with material on Dry Lab and Wet Lab Methods in the Pipelines of Herbal Studies, Dr. Wachid Putranto, dr., Sp.PD-KGH., FINASIM with material on Risk Factors for Chronic Kidney Disease in a Community-Based Population: Clinical and research aspects, Dr. Rina Triana., M.Farm with material What's New Trend of Biomarkers.

As many as 50 participants attended this seminar and also witnessed the signing procession of the cooperation agreement between FK UNS and Prodia Widyahusada Tbk.
In his speech, Dr. Indriyanti as Director of Business and Marketing at Prodia said that the collaboration between Prodia and FK UNS has been around for a long time.
“This collaboration has been going on for quite a long time, starting from 2011 until now. "This is very extraordinary because according to our data, there are more than 295 research collaborations carried out between Prodia and FK UNS," she explained.

Dr. Indriyanti hopes that Prodia's presence can foster enthusiasm for conducting research because laboratory technology at Prodia is very open to be used for research by FK UNS students and lecturers.
Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Reviono welcomed the extension of this collaboration because it supports FK UNS lecturers in conducting research that requires sample testing in the laboratory.
"We at FK UNS have the Tri Dharma of Higher Education obligations, namely education, research and community service, where these three things can be done together with Prodia," explained Prof. Reviono.
It was further stated that the content of this collaboration always develops every year, starting from organizing scientific activities, research and research to international publications.
"Certainly the content of this collaboration will continue to develop every year, but the focus remains on the development of science," he concluded.
