The Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) throughout January has graduated 4 new doctors, 1 person from the Doctoral Study Program in Medical Sciences and 3 people from the Doctoral Study Program in Public Health.

The four doctors are Dr. Endang Listyaningsih S, dr., M.Kes., Sp.Ak; Dr. Hari Wahyu Nugroho, dr., Sp.A(K)., M.Kes; Dr. Lilis Maghfuroh, S.Kep. Ners., M.Kes; Dr. Violita Siska Mutiara, S.ST., M.Kes, all of whom underwent the Open Doctoral Promotion Examination at the FK UNS Auditorium.

Dr. Endang Listyaningsih S, dr., M.Kes., Sp.Ak from the Medical Sciences Doctoral Study Program underwent an Open Doctoral Promotion Examination on January 16 2024 with the dissertation title 'The Effect of Mingmen Point (GV4) and Zusanli (ST36) Acupuncture Therapy on the Kidneys Mice (Mus Musculus L) Model of Lupus Nephritis' Study of Cortisol, Transforming Growth Factor β1, Features of Nephritis, Interstitial Fibrosis and Renal Glumerulosclerosis in Mice (Mus Muscullus L) Model of Lupus Nephritis.

After going through this open exam, Dr. Endang Listyaningsih was declared to have graduated with honors and achieved a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.93 in her 7 year study period. Dr. Endang Listyaningsih is the 76th doctor to graduate from the Doctoral Study Program in Medical Sciences FK UNS and the 1026th doctor to graduate from UNS.

Meanwhile, the doctor who graduated from the Public Health Science Doctoral Study Program was Dr. Hari Wahyu Nugroho, dr., Sp.A(K)., M.Kes who underwent the Open Doctoral Promotion Examination on January 22 2024 with the dissertation title 'Analysis of the Relationship between Short Term Memory and Social Determinants in Children Aged 15-18 Years Based on Data from the Indonesian Family Life Survey Waves 4 and 5' Study of Variables: Mother's Educational Level, Family Economic Level, Child's Years of Education, Smoking, Age, Inflammation, Stress.

In this exam Dr. Hari Wahyu Nugroho was declared to have graduated with honors and achieved a GPA of 3.97 with a study period of 4 years and 6 months. Dr. Hari Wahyu Nugroho is the 21st doctor from the FK UNS Public Health Science Doctoral Study Program and the 1027th doctor to graduate from UNS.

Another doctor from the FK UNS Public Health Science Doctoral Study Program is Dr. Lilis Maghfuroh, S.Kep. Ners., M.Kes who underwent an open doctoral promotion examination on January 23 2024 with the dissertation title 'Preschool Child Development Surveillance Instrument (SAPALAH) for PAUD Teachers'.

In this open doctoral promotion exam, Dr. Lilis Maghfuroh was declared to have graduated with honors and achieved a GPA of 3.95. Dr. Lilis Maghfuroh is the 22nd doctor to be graduated by the Doctoral Study Program in Public Health Sciences FK UNS and is the 1028th doctor to be graduated from UNS.

The last doctor who underwent an open examination this January was Dr. Violita Siska Mutiara, S.ST., M.Kes. The exam was held on January 24 2024 with the dissertation title 'Online Community-Based Health Promotion to Improve Health Literacy: Netnographic Study of Online Communities in Indonesia'.

In this open exam, Dr. Violita successfully graduated with honors and achieved a GPA of 3.99. Dr. Violita is the 23rd doctorate to be graduated by the Doctoral Study Program in Public Health Sciences FK UNS and is the 1030th doctorate to be graduated from UNS.

Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K) welcomed the increase in doctoral program graduates from FK UNS.

"Of course, this is a good thing because with the addition of doctorates, it will further strengthen the institution from a scientific perspective and I hope that these doctors can show their progress and contribution in the scientific field at the institution where they work through various research or scientific publications," Prof. Reviono said.
