FK UNS and UNS Hospital Signed a Tripartite Cooperation Agreement with Seven Partner Hospitals
The Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) and UNS Hospital collaborate with 7 (seven) partner hospitals as a place for education for FK UNS students. This collaboration was marked by the signing of a tripartite cooperation agreement which was held on Tuesday (7/11/2023).
Taking place in the FK UNS auditorium, this activity was attended by the Dean of FK UNS, the Director and Deputy Director of UNS Hospital, 2 representatives of affiliated hospitals, namely Prof. Orthopedic Hospital. Dr. R. Soeharso Hospital Surakarta and Dr. Ario Wirawan Lung Hospital Salatiga, 5 representatives of satellite hospitals, namely Regional General Hospital Pandan Arang Boyolali, Regional General Hospital Dr. Soehadi Prijonegoro Sragen, Regional General Hospital Dr. Darsono Pacitan, Regional General Hospital Dr. Soeratno Gemolong Sragen and Slamet Riyadi Military Hospital.

Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K) on this occasion said that the uniqueness of each hospital where students carry out their education process will make students develop further scientifically.
"We are grateful that with this collaboration, our students will later be stationed in each hospital which has its own characteristics. For example, at an Orthopedic Hospital which focuses on orthopedic problems and then at a type B hospital with more complex cases. With this uniqueness, our students will develop better scientifically," Prof. Reviono said.
With this collaboration, it was hoped that the quality of graduates will be maintained, as stated by the Director of UNS Hospital, Prof. Dr. Hartono, dr., M.Sc.
"With this cooperation agreement, hopefully all student education processes at the hospital will run smoothly, become easier and in the end the competence of our students and our graduates will be as expected by various parties. This good quality of graduates has been maintained by the UNS Faculty of Medicine and Hospital," Prof. Hartono explained.

Head of the Legal and Public Relations Working Team at the Orthopedic Hospital, Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso, A.Y. Yanto, SKM., M.Pd welcomed this collaboration because it could improve the quality of education and research in hospitals.
“Following up, one of the missions of the Orthopedic Hospital is to improve education and research networks. This tripartite collaboration is very beneficial for improving the quality of educational and research networks at Orthopedic Hospitals," he said.
"Residents who are sent to take part in learning at RSO are residents who are very capable and really help us in medical services at RSO, especially outpatient services and operating rooms. "We hope that this collaboration can be increased because it will increase credibility and add value to orthopedic hospitals which are now required to develop international services," he added.
Apart from signing the collaboration, on this occasion a projector unit was also handed over to each partner hospital as a means of supporting the educational process of FK UNS students.
