According to Prof. Dr. Abdul Razak Bin Sulaiman from Universiti Sains Malaysia, cooperation between UNS and USM already exists but both parties want a more in-depth cooperation agreement regarding medicine.

"We already have a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UNS and USM, but we are currently making another special MoU between medical faculties so that we can work together more closely," said Prof. Abdul Razak.

Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K) hoped that the collaboration with these two universities from abroad could improve the quality of FK UNS.

“We are very proud to be able to collaborate with very strong universities in the learning process, research process and so on. "Currently, an educational institution or study center needs a collaborative network that will provide lots of input, provide experience, provide insight so that it can develop further," Prof. Reviono said.

It was further stated that in the current era of openness, a doctor needs experience not only within the country but also abroad in order to be able to align with developments in the world of health which are developing very quickly.

It is hoped that collaboration with these two universities from abroad will further improve the quality of FK UNS students and can contribute to developing UNS towards becoming a world-class university.
