FK UNS Releases 16 New Specialist Doctors for the September 2023 Period
The Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) through the Specialist Doctor Education Program (PPDS) on Friday (22/9/2023) again released new specialist doctors who had just graduated from FK UNS. This event was attended by the Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K); Acting Officer Vice Dean for Planning, Business Cooperation and Information, Dr. Selfi Handayani, dr., M.Kes, Vice Director of Support at US Hospital Dr. Moewardi, Sukmonoadi Singosurandono, SKM; as well as all Heads of the FK UNS PPDS Study Program.
Based on the academic report read by Acting Officer Vice Dean for Planning, Business Cooperation and Information, Dr. Selfi Handayani, dr., M.Kes, at the release of specialist doctors for the September 2023 period, FK UNS released a total of 16 PPDS students from 5 Study Programs consisting of 6 people from the Child Health Science Study Program, 1 person from the Dermatology Study Program and Venereology, 4 people from the Internal Medicine Study Program, 4 people from the Neurology Study Program, 1 person from the Heart and Blood Vessel Study Program.

In this release, there was a participant with the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) achieved by Muhammad Alfian, dr., Sp.P.D (NIM S961908010) with a GPA of 3.92 from the PPDS Internal Medicine Study Program. Meanwhile, the youngest graduate in the PPDS Release this time was Novian Anindito Santosa, dr., Sp.N, who came from the PPDS Neurology Study Program with an age of 29 years and 8 months at the time of graduation.
Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Pribadi, Sp.A, representing the graduates, in his speech felt proud to be a student at FK UNS and expressed his gratitude for all the guidance and teaching provided by the campus during the process of gaining knowledge.
“Today we have proven that our persistence and hard work can produce good results that we never imagined. "On this occasion we would like to express our highest gratitude and appreciation to our teachers for the guidance and knowledge they have provided so far," he said.
Vice Director of Support at US Hospital Dr. Moewardi, Sukmonoadi Singosurandono, SKM congratulated the specialist doctor on graduating.
"Congratulations on graduating, our message is that colleagues can practice their knowledge, carry out their dharma of self-devotion, in their respective areas. "Dr Moewardi Hospital strongly supports government policies related to the 6 pillars of health transformation, one of which is accelerating the production of specialist doctors and their distribution," he said.
Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Reviono in his speech said that specialist doctors must always uphold the basic principles in carrying out the medical profession.

“All of you as doctors must uphold the values of professionalism, integrity and networking. If all of you can carry out these principles well then it will be easier for you to achieve success." Prof. Reviono hoped.
He also advised that the new specialist doctors could maintain the good name of UNS and continue to maintain good relations with colleagues and with the alma mater.
With the release of specialist doctors for the September 2023 period, the UNS Faculty of Medicine, since its founding in 1976, has graduated 1748 (one thousand seven hundred and forty eight) specialist doctors, who have spread throughout the country and have devoted their knowledge to various agencies both in the field of service. health, education, research, as well as specialist doctors for the government, private sector, TNI/POLRI and others.
