The Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) has always been committed to applying the principles of education and zero tolerance for bullying in organizing the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) activities.

This was directly conveyed by the Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, Sp.P(K) while giving a speech at a meeting between the UNS Faculty of Medicine Leaders and parents of new students on Friday, (18/8/2023) in the UNS Faculty of Medicine Auditorium.

“Currently there is a lot of bullying or bullying, we at the UNS Faculty of Medicine have a commitment of zero tolerance for bullying. So, we strongly oppose and do not tolerate bullying," emphasized Prof. Reviono.

Next Prof. Reviono emphasized that the PKKMB activity is important so that new students get to know the campus better "This activity is very important because students will be studying on campus for a long time so they must know well what is on campus, both educational services and administrative places or leadership places, laboratories and rules that must be understood while undergoing studies," Prof. Reviono said.

He also advised parents to participate in monitoring the PKKMB activities and if there is input so they don't hesitate to convey it to the campus so that the PKKMB activities can run well.

"This guidance period is to shape the character of a new student of the Medical Education Study Program who will later become a doctor and this Social Service involves new students so they can see and feel how the medical profession provides direct benefits to society," she said.

It is hoped that this meeting with parents of students will provide information regarding PKKMB activities which will be held on 21-23 August 2023.
