FK UNS Becomes Host of Annual Member Meeting and Ratification Competency Standards of Indonesian Health Profession Education Collegium
The Indonesian Health Professional Education Collegium (KIPPKI) held an Annual Member Meeting and Ratification of Competency Standards in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) on Monday (14/8/2023).
It was opened directly by the Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K), the activity which was held offline and online through the zoom application was attended by 30 members from various regions in Indonesia. This collegium itself was formed with the vision to be a pioneer in the progress of the development and implementation of Medical and Health Profession Education in Indonesia towards superior quality based on the latest scientific evidence to realize the best health services for the community.
In his remarks, Prof. Reviono advised that the members of KIPPKI could design a good teaching design. there is an adjustment," he said.
The Head of the 2023 KIPPKI Annual Meeting, Dr. Eti Poncorini P, dr., M.Pd said that activities like this are a mandate in running an organization.

"This member meeting is a mandate that is in the AD/ART that we must carry out every year.
Hopefully we can grow this organization together, even though Medu (Medical Education) is a new field of study, thank God there are already many professors in our organization who it is hoped that this field of knowledge will be stronger and more able to spread benefits to the world of medical education and health in Indonesia," Dr. Eti said.
The Head of KIPPKI, Prof. Mora Claramita, dr., M.P.H.E., Ph.D., Sp.KKLP hopes that the collegium members can become pioneers in the field of medical education better, "I hope that the members of this collegium can lead the reform of medical education and the health profession which will ultimately lead to better health services," she said.
He also hopes that all members of the collegium, especially those who already have masters and doctoral degrees in medical education, will not get stuck in routine activities and will not develop themselves.

"Because routine activities such as giving lectures, giving tutorials, practicums and so on are the functions of the Tri Dharma of lecturers, but for medical education it should be more than that, so we are thinking about starting from the evaluation, then planning to check the action and the usefulness of our knowledge to society, lecturers and students," explained Prof. Mora.
The activities of KIPPKI itself are not only the Annual Member Meetings, but have also held various seminars related to medical education several times. After conducting discussions and ratification of competency standards, this activity was closed with a group photo and hospitality.
