The Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) is one of the venues for holding the 2nd Batch of the Computer-Based Writing Examination (UTBK) Test-Based National Selection (SNBT). The exam which started on Monday (22/05/2023) is scheduled to finish on Friday (26/05/2023). In batch 2, 715 participants will take the exam at the FK UNS Computer Laboratory.

On the first day of the UTBK Batch II exam, Acting Officer Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology (Dikti Ristek), Prof. Ir. Nizam, M.Sc., DIC., Ph.D., ASEAN Eng. gave appreciation for the implementation of UTBK-SNBT in UNS. This was conveyed by Prof. Nizam while conducting Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of the UTBK SNBT implementation at UNS.

In this Monev at FK UNS, Prof. Nizam was accompanied by Deputy Chairperson 2 of the National Selection Team for New Student Admissions (SNPMB), Dr. Ir. Eduart S.T., M.T., IPM., UNS Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum., Plt. UNS Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ahmad Yunus, M.S. and Head of UPT SPMB UNS, Prof. Dr. Ir. Hadiwiyono, M.Si was welcomed by the Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K).

"Participants taking part in the UTBK SNBT at UNS have increased compared to last year. Alhamdulillah, this shows that high school graduates have increased and the level of public trust in higher education has increased. Then the attendance rate for test participants is also high, this shows the seriousness of the participants to take part in UTBK," said Prof. Nizam.

On this occasion, Prof. Nizam did not forget to thank the committee who had worked well in preparing the UTBK implementation facilities and infrastructure.

"Thank you to the committee that has prepared everything. From a maintenance standpoint, it's been good, according to procedures. The atmosphere is good and the location of the test room is quiet," added Prof. Nizam.

Meanwhile, UNS Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum. thank you for visiting Plt. Director General of Research and Technology, Prof. Ir. Nizam, M.Sc., DIC., Ph.D. and Deputy Chairperson 2 of the SNPMB Responsible Team, Dr. Ir. Eduart S.T., M.T., IPM. who is also the Chancellor of Gorontalo State University to UNS.

"Alhamdulillah, the implementation of the first batch of UTBK SNBT at UNS went smoothly. Hopefully the second batch which started today (Monday, 22/5/2023) can run smoothly until it's finished," said Prof. Jamal.
