The Study Program (Prodi) Specialist Doctor Education Program (PPDS) Radiology Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sebelas Maret (FK UNS) held an international lecture by presenting an expert from Michigan State University, United States. The activity, which was carried out online via the Zoom application, was held on Sunday (21/05/2023) and was attended by more than 200 participants.

Participants who took part in this activity were neuroradiology consultants, radiology doctors, radiology residents, neurology residents, ENT residents and surgical residents who came from various regions in Indonesia.

Prof. Suresh Kumar Mukherji, MD., MBA., FACR as the International Lecture on this occasion emphasized to participants the importance of mastering anatomy in detail and the ability to keep up with technological developments so that it is hoped that a combination of knowledge and technology can make doctors more accurate in providing a diagnosis.

Head of Radiology PPDS Study Program FK UNS, dr. Rachmi Fauziah Rahayu, Sp.Rad(K), N-KL expressed her gratitude to the resource persons who were willing to share their knowledge with the participants.

"We are very grateful to Prof. Suresh Kumar Mukherji for expanding our knowledge of Anatomy and Pathology of the Cerebellopontine Angle and Lateral Skull base, this is very beneficial for us," dr. Rachmi said.

It is hoped that this activity can provide broader knowledge to the participants so that in the future they can detect Cerebellopontine Angle and Lateral Skull disease early and improve the quality of patient care for the better.
