Being One of the UTBK Test Locations at UNS, the FK Computer Laboratory Was Observed by the Rector of UNS
As many as 30,013 appliers on Monday (08/05/2023) are scheduled to take the Computer Based Writing Examination (UTBK) for the 2023 Test-Based National Selection (SNBT) at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS). This exam will be divided into 2 batches with wave 1 starting today until May 14 2023 with 14 sessions and wave 2 on May 22-26 2023 with 10 sessions. There will be 2 exam sessions every day, namely the morning exam session and the afternoon exam session.
Faculty of Medicine (FK) UNS is one of the venues for this selection. Located in the FK UNS Computer Based Test (CBT) Laboratory, the room is divided into 2, namely CBT A and CBT B with a capacity of 40 participants each so that each exam session can accommodate 80 participants.
If you look at the recap of room occupancy at this UTBK, FK UNS will accept 1120 examinees in batch 1 and 715 examinees in batch 2.
For participants in the morning session, they must be ready at the exam location at 06.45 WIB. The participants will be faced with UTBK material that will be tested, one of which is in the form of a Scholastic Potential Test which includes general reasoning abilities, quantitative abilities, general knowledge and understanding, and the ability to understand reading and writing. In addition, there are also literacy tests in Indonesian and English, as well as Mathematical Reasoning Tests.
On this occasion, the Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum. accompanied by Plt. UNS Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ahmad Yunus, M.S. and Head of UPT SPMB UNS, Prof. Dr. Ir. Hadiwiyono, M.Sc. took the time to directly observe the implementation of UTBK in FK UNS.
Prof. Jamal said that the participants registered at the UNS UTBK Center this year increased by 13.65% compared to last year, from 26,408 participants to 30,013 participants this year.
“Alhamdulillah, the implementation of UTBK at UNS in session 1 this morning, Monday 8 May 2023, can run smoothly. The number of participants who attended the exam at the UNS UTBK Center in the first session was 1,267 people (96.72%). While the participants who were not present were 43 people (3.28%)," Prof. Jamal said.
Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K), also said that the UNS Faculty of Medicine, which is one of the UTBK test locations at UNS, has prepared as much as possible the facilities, infrastructure and personnel to support the successful implementation of the UTBK-SNBT 2023.
"The UNS Faculty of Medicine in implementing the 2023 UTBK-SNBT has prepared as much as possible the facilities, infrastructure and personnel to support the successful implementation of the 2023 UTBK-SNBT. We have instructed officers and supervisors to be on duty and guard according to the established procedures. We hope that the implementation of this year's UTBK will run smoothly. Participants Don't come late, bring all the required documents and act honestly, don't cheat. Good luck," Prof. Reviono explained.
According to the UTBK Field Representative (PJL) at FK UNS, Sutiman, S.IP, there were 3 participants who did not take the exam today.
"For the morning session exam, there were 80 participants who took part in the UTBK-SNBT selection, while in the afternoon session exam, out of 80 participants, there were 3 participants who did not take part in the selection, so only 77 people took the exam," Sutiman explained.
