FK UNS Holds Eid al-Fitr 1444 H Gathering and Appreciates Retired Staff
The leaders of the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) took advantage of the moment of going back to work after Eid al-Fitr 1444 H to hold a gathering with the extended family of FK UNS academics. The annual gathering which was held on Tuesday (02/05/2023) and took place at the Auditorium of the UNS FK was attended by all leaders, lecturers and education staff, as well as student representatives represented by international students within the Faculty of Medicine. However, not only the FK UNS academic community, the Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum., also joined this event.
The Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K), in his remarks said that there were many benefits to be gained from this gathering.
"This halalbihalal event is typical of Indonesia, in which this friendship has many benefits, increases fortune, adds brothers, increases age," Prof. Reviono mentioned.
UNS Rector, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum, said that FK UNS is a great faculty because it held the first halalbihalal event among other faculties at UNS. Besides that Prof. Jamal also said that halalbihalal is a routine culture that must be continuously developed.
"Ladies and gentlemen who I respect, halalbihalal is a routine culture that we continuously develop. We never forget our own cultural roots, one of which is to forgive one another," Prof. Jamal said.
Prof. Jamal also hopes that UNS academics will compete with each other to give good to UNS.
"The month of Shawwal is the Month of Improvement, all of them increase, we also have to improve in others. Increase with faith, hospitality, visiting each other, greeting each other. I also hope for institutions to increase. What increases, increases to continuously love each other Universitas Sebelas Maret. Let's have fastabiqul khairat together, together vying with each other to give goodness to Universitas Sebelas Maret," Prof. Jamal explained.
In this event, a study was delivered by the Head of the Anatomy Laboratory of FK UNS, Nanang Wiyono, dr., M.Kes. The study material presented was entitled 'Friendship and Health (Spiritual Studies of Neuroscience)'. dr. Nanang explained the benefits of gathering which were studied according to Islamic sciences and Health Sciences.
Faculty of Medicine UNS also expressed its appreciation to lecturers and educational staff who will be on full duty in 2023. As many as 14 retired people in the Faculty of Medicine were given mementos as an appreciation for their dedication while serving in FK UNS.
Niniek Purwaningtyas, dr., Sp.JP(K), FIHA, as the retired representative who gave a very grateful speech and thanked all FK UNS academics who had given their appreciation.
The gathering event was closed by mutual benefit among FK UNS academics.
