Radiology Specialist Doctor Education Program (PPDS) Faculty of Medicine (FK) as part of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) which has become a World Class University and is also as part of the Dr. Moewardi General Hospital Surakarta is trying to increase cooperation in order to strengthen the quality of education and research.

On 23-24 February 2023, four delegates from PPDS Radiology, namely dr. Sulistyani Kusumaningrum, Sp.Rad (K) RI, M.Sc as Head of Section, dr. Rachmi Fauziah Rahayu, Sp.Rad(K)N-KL as the Head of the Study Program, along with two residents (PPDS Radiology students), dr. Nurita Widyasari and dr. Anak Agung Sagung Wikan Putridewi paid a visit to Universiti Putera Malaysia and Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Malaysia. While at Universiti Putera Malaysia, the FK UNS representatives were welcomed by representatives of the Dean: Prof. Dr. Rukman Awang Hamat and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cheah Pike See. Furthermore, during a visit to the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Malaysia Hospital, he was greeted by the Head of Radiology Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasyma Abu Hassan and staff representatives Assoc. Prof. Dr. Priya Suppiah.

During the meeting an agreement was signed between the Radiology Study Program FK UNS and Universiti Putera Malaysia regarding the cooperation of the two parties in an effort to strengthen collaboration in the field of Education and Research at PPDS Radiology FK UNS. The signing of this agreement is a prelude to further cooperation at a more practical and technical level.

Universiti Putera Malaysia welcomed this collaboration, as did the Radiology Study Program as part of the UNS Faculty of Medicine and Dr. Moewardi, Central Java Province.

"With this visit, we hope that the collaboration between the Radiology Study Program - Faculty of Medicine and the Radiology Department - UPM Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences will bring benefits to students so that they can add experience, especially in the fields of nuclear radiology and interventional radiology," the Head of the Radiology Study Program, dr. Rachmi Fauziah Rahayu, Sp.Rad(K)NKL said .
