The Faculty of Medicine (FK) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) in its efforts to improve superior services in accordance with the work culture at UNS, namely UNS ACTIVE, one of which is Customer Satisfaction or the satisfaction of the ability to help or serve others or meet the needs of service users, both internally and externally, then the Service Excellence Training activity was held for FK UNS education staff.

The activity, which was held on Saturday (24/9/2022) at Nava Hotel Tawangmangu, Karanganyar, was attended by 72 FK UNS education staff and was guided by the Service Quality Officer Team of Mandiri Bank Surakarta Branch.

This activity was opened by the Vice Dean of Human Resources, Finance and Logistics of FK UNS, Dr. Diah Kurnia Mirawati, dr., Sp.S (K). In his speech, he conveyed about the importance of good service by education personnel.

“Under any circumstances, we must serve all who come to us well, whether they are lecturers, education staff or students. In terms of etiquette, I'm sure that all the education staff here have good manners, it's just that what needs to be polished again is how to train when we deal with guests both from within the FK, from the UNS environment or from outside UNS," she said.

She further said that currently in Indonesia there are 93 medical faculties and 100 universities are in the process of establishing new medical faculties, this will indirectly lead to competition.

"I always say that between lecturers and friends of education staff, there is a unity in advancing FK UNS," she said.

"Let's take care of FK UNS, which we are proud of, by providing the best service. My hope is that together we can improve ourselves, now it is good but it must be improved to be even better,” he continued.

This activity is filled with material about service to consumers, problem solving in the world of work and work motivation to increase the spirit of the trainees at work. It is hoped that after this training, the education staff of FK UNS will improve the quality of their services so that the work culture of UNS ACTIVE can be maintained properly.
