FK UNS Receives a Visit from Universitas Muhadi Setiabudi to Discuss Macro-Micro-Curriculum Review
In establishing a new study program or faculty in an educational institution requires a lot of things to be prepared. With the various things that must be prepared, collaboration with other institutions is needed which in providing assistance to prepare the establishment of the new study program or faculty.
The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sebelas Maret (FK UNS) with various achievements and experiences so far is considered capable and trusted by Universitas Muhadi Setiabudi Brebes as a companion institution in the process of establishing the Faculty of Medicine at Universitas Muhadi Setiabudi.
On Wednesday (13/7/2022) the Faculty of Medicine, UNS received a visit from Universitas Muhadi Setiabudi to conduct a curriculum review in the Workshop on Reviewing the Macro-Micro Curriculum and Development of the Clinical Skills Curriculum which took place in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Medicine, UNS.
The delegation from Universitas Muhadi Setiabudi was welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K); Deputy Dean for Academic, Research and Student Affairs, Paramasari Dirgahayu, dr., Ph.D and the Medical Education Unit (UPK) Team, Faculty of Medicine, UNS.
In his opening remarks at the opening of this event, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, UNS said that there would be a big responsibility for this founding team.
"Apart from being proud because not all doctors can be involved in this team, but there is a big responsibility that is not easy because we will produce doctors who interact directly with health services where health status is the dominant thing for a healthy nation, so don't worry. just proud but remember there is a big responsibility there," Prof. Reviono explained.
The workshop, which will be held for two days, will not only discuss the curriculum but also general things that are standardized according to the national standards for medical education and the specific contents or advantages of prospective study programs to be established.
