The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sebelas Maret (FK UNS) on Friday (8/7/2022) welcomed a visit from representatives of the Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) in the context of discussing the cooperation in opening the Bachelor of Medicine Study Program at the State University of Malang. This visit was the second time that the meeting was held after the first meeting was held to discuss the requirements and completeness of the establishment of a new Bachelor of Medicine Study Program as well as workshops on finance and management.

Present in the group from the Universitas Negeri Malang, the Dean of the Faculty of Sports Science, Dr. Sapto Adi, M.Kes; Director of Planning, Rating, Public Relations and Partnership, Dr. Suhariyanto, M.M; Lecturer of the Department of Public Health, Erianto, dr., M.KKK and Head of the Partnership Section, Rahadi. This group was received directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K) along with the ranks of vice deans and coordinators of related fields.

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in his speech said that although the government has provided the widest opportunity for state universities to open medical study programs, it must not rule out the problem of the quality of the study programs to be established.

"In this case (the opening of the medical study program) must not leave the quality side. Even though the government already believes in the quality of our universities, we must not ignore the trust from the government, we must be able to meet the standards set by the ministry," Prof. Reviono said.

Director of Planning, Ranking, Public Relations and Partnership, State University of Malang, Dr. Suhariyanto, M.M expressed his gratitude for the guidance that had been given so far and felt very helped by the guidance and direction from the Faculty of Medicine UNS.
