The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sebelas Maret (FK UNS) on Tuesday (14/6/2022) received an official visit from the Psychology Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universitas Jambi in the context of benchmarking and initiating collaboration. This meeting was the first step in the cooperation that will be undertaken by both parties as well as in the context of realizing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in the field of institutional development.

Psychology Study Program, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universitas Jambi which on this occasion was represented by Deputy Dean III, Nofrans Eka Saputra, S.Psi., M.A and Head of Psychology Study Program, Yun Nina Ekawati, S.Psi., M Psi., Psychologists, were welcomed directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K), Deputy Dean of Planning, Business Cooperation and Information FK UNS, Dr. Selfi Handayani, dr., M.Kes and the Head of the Psychology Study Program FK UNS, Dr. Aditya Nanda Priyatama, S.Psi., M.Sc.

In his remarks, the Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K), said that the current collaboration between institutions is something that is important for institutional development.

“At this time, it is very important that we expand our network because it will add input, add insight and add information so that we can share anything. This is a positive, productive thing to do for the development of our respective institutions," Prof. Reviono mentioned.

On this occasion Prof. Reviono also explained that the development of the Psychology Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine UNS was very fast, both from the number of student admissions, the rankings carried out or from the development of research groups that were able to win grants at both national and international levels. This was what ultimately made the university consider Psychology study program was capable of turning into a faculty.

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universitas Jambi, Dr. Humaryanto, dr., Sp.OT., M.Kes, who was present through the Zoom application, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the leadership of the Faculty of Medicine, UNS and hoped that this meeting could establish closer collaboration and be able to develop knowledge in the field of research and research. in the future.
