Brigadier General TNI Rahmat Saptono, dr., Sp.OG is a high-ranking Indonesian Army officer who graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sebelas Maret (FK UNS). After briefly holding several strategic positions in the TNI AD, Brigadier General Rahmat Saptono now serves as Inspector of the Army Health Center (Irpuskesad).

With various achievements and strategic job positions he has, this TNI AD High Officer who was born on July 23, 1968, was selected as the Outstanding Alumni of FK UNS in 2022. This could not be separated from the contributions he has made to society and the country.

In the Sharing Success Story event held by FK UNS on Wednesday (23/3/2022), the Dean of FK UNS Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P (K) really appreciated the achievements of Brigadier General Rahmat Saptono.

"These alumni show a showcase of educational institutions here, so what alumni have achieved and the performance of alumni reflects the quality of their educational institutions," Prof. Revi said in his speech.

Furthermore, Prof. Revi said that the Sharing Success Story event could be input for current students who are still undergoing education so that in the future they can be successful like other FK UNS alumni.

Brigadier General Rahmat Saptono also mentioned that in order to become a successful person, there were several things that need to be done.

"We must be able to build a brand image in ourselves, a big image of our good image, we must build a positive image," said Brigadier General Rahmat Saptono.

He further said that to be able to build a good positive image, one must be disciplined and responsible in carrying out the obligations carried out. In addition, a person in order to be successful must have many ideas.

“Then there must be a lot of ideas, what ideas? innovative and creative ideas for us to the forum for us to work on. But if we don't work on ideas, in the end, there will be no meaning," said Brigadier General Rahmat Saptono.

According to him, if someone wanted to be successful, they must also dare to take decisions or take risks, have a good competitive spirit and can be trusted. If someone could do it all, then he would have a positive image value or a high selling point.

The event which lasted for 3 hours was attended by the leadership of the UNS FK, the Chairman of FK UNS Alumni, the 1986 FK UNS Alumni members, and FK UNS students.
