Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) in a series of 46th Anniversary events held a Blood Donation activity on Tuesday (15/3/2022) at the di UNS Auditorium GPH Haryo Mataram, S.H. This blood donation activity is a routine activity held by Dharma Wanita Persatuan UNS every month which aims to continue to foster a sense of humanity in an effort to help others who need blood donors.

In his remarks, the Chancellor of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum said:

“I appreciate the steps of friends to continue to echo, so don't let our university become an ivory tower but become a water tower that provides coolness to all levels of society. Today, I have received more than 113 that are ready to donate blood to colleagues in need who this time are collaborating with PMI, Dharma Wanita, Faculty of Medicine and with KSR UNS and sponsors".

In addition, Prof. Jamal also gave high appreciation to the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K) who on this occasion was elected as Chair of the 46th Anniversary of UNS. Prof. Jamal said that the successful Dies Natalis activity was thanks to the hard work of Prof. Reviono and his team.

"I would like to thank Prof Reviono in particular, we will appoint Prof. Revi together to be the chairman of the Anniversary. Extraordinary success in organizing activities, from inviting the President, there are several ministers, there are governors and so on so this shows that Prof. Revi's work is extraordinary, besides that of course Prof. Revi's friends, "said Prof. Jamal.

Prof. Jamal hoped that the activities that have been going well and routinely can continue to be improved so that UNS can continue to be useful for the wider community.
