The need for the Indonesian state for the availability of specialist doctors is still lacking and uneven, so that people cannot fully enjoy the services of specialist doctors in the area where they live. The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sebelas Maret (FK UNS) as one of the institutions that produces quality specialist Doctor graduates in Indonesia continues to strive to contribute to the country by graduating Specialist Doctors to be able to devote their knowledge to society.

FK UNS through the Specialist Doctor Education Program (PPDS) on Thursday (24/02/2022), released 37 Specialist Doctors from 9 different study programs. In this release, there were 2 participants with the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) achieved by Dedy Tri Wijaya, dr., Sp.PD with a GPA of 3.89 and Wisnu Yudho Hutomo, dr., Sp.PD with a GPA of 3.89 , both from the Program Internal Medicine Studies.

With the release of specialist doctors for the period of February 2022, the Faculty of Medicine, UNS, since its establishment in 1976, had graduated 1479 (one thousand four hundred and seventy-nine) specialist doctors, who have spread throughout the country and have devoted their knowledge to various agencies both in the field of health services. health, education, research, as well as specialist doctors for government, private sector, TNI/POLRI and others.

The Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K), in his remarks said:

“FK UNS routinely graduates or produces specialist doctors in meeting the needs of the community whose services are needed. This is the stage for all of you to have a career, whether in your profession, in specialist or sub-specialist expertise, management or politics. Whatever it is the job is a career stage that can be your choice.”

Furthermore, Prof. Reviono hoped that this new Specialist Doctor graduate could maintain the good name of his alma mater and wish them be success in their careers and services to society, nation and state. PUBLIC RELATION OF FK UNS.
