The three students, class of 2019, of the Bachelor of Medicine Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sebelas Maret (FK UNS): Tamara Maulidya, Vina Sari Nugrahaning Widi, and Tyasno Koeshermanto, started with an interest in seeing the competition poster held to commemorate World Cancer Day every February 4.

The competition with the title World Cancer Day Competition (WCDC) 2022 was organized by the Cancer Care Student Community (Kompak) Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (Unud). Their posters contain lung cancer prevention education.

From several sub-themes, the three students chose the sub-theme 'Changes Lifestyle Changes Your Life: Implement Cancer Prevention Steps in Life' and made a poster entitled 'Lung cancer? Beware of Coughing, Prevent Wisely'.

This poster aimed to educate the public about lung cancer and explained how a healthy lifestyle can be done to reduce the risk of developing lung cancer.

FK UNS students were included in the 10 finalists from 59 participants who competed in the final round.

Saturday (12/2/2022) the poster that was made won 2nd place and favourite winner. The three students did not expect to get 2 winners at once due to the number of participants in this competition that were quite a lot. They hoped that in the future, this poster can educate the public in preventing lung cancer so that new cases of lung cancer can decrease. PUBLIC RELATION OF FK UNS.
