Anniversary are usually better known among higher education institutions. We can interpret anniversary as a birthday, or an institution's birthday. Commemorating the birthday of an educational institution is certainly a special moment to celebrate.

The purpose of this event is not only to commemorate the founding day of the university as well as to create a harmonious and harmonious relationship between elements in the academic community, especially for a university whose main function is to produce quality and integrity cadres.

Different places, different ways of celebrating it depending on the wishes and abilities of each party. It's the same when we design our own birthday event, of course it won't be the same as someone else's way of celebrating it. However, each of these parties will certainly package it as well as possible and be held in various ways.

The preparation for the event, which is presented at the university or faculty level, starts from choosing various themes, organizing competitions such as sports or works, exhibitions, stand-up comedy, inviting guests as speakers or outstanding alumni, inviting bands as entertainment events, creative and unique celebrations, and various other events to add to the liveliness of the event.

In 2022, Sebelas Maret University (UNS) as an independent campus is even 46 years old. The celebration of the birth of this state university as a legal entity in Solo (dies natalis) on March 11.
