The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sebelas Maret (FK UNS) again held the Inauguration and Hippocratic Oath Taking on Wednesday (12/01/2022). This event was the 218th period held by the Faculty of Medicine UNS since its establishment in 1976. A total of 32 participants attended this event consisting of 16 male participants and 16 female participants.

The participants of this event were those who had passed the Medical Profession Program Student Competency Exam (UKMPPD) which was held on November 13, 2021. The UKMPPD was attended by 36 participants with 32 participants passing (88.89%) while the graduation rate there were 29 first takers (93.55%) of the 31 participants.

Director of the Regional General Hospital Dr. Moewardi Surakarta, Dr. Cahyono Hadi, dr., Sp.OG (K), on this occasion advised the new doctors who have taken the oath to not only stop as doctors, but continue to develop themselves both in the structural field or in the education sector, the most important thing is that everything is done in all the points of Hippocratic Oath that was sworn in earlier.

In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K), said:

“What I will say is simillar to what the Director and from the alumni family and the representatives of new graduate doctors had said earlier, that it is true that in the current era to become a doctor the challenges are different, the challenges are more competitive and all of you must have competence above your peers. another".

At the Inauguration and Hippocratic Oath Taking this time, there was 1 participant with the Cumlaude predicate and the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) was achieved by Ratna Kartika Kinasih (NIM.G991908017) with a study period of 2 years 4 months and a GPA of 3.77. With the inauguration of the 218th period doctors today, since its establishment in 1976 the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sebelas Maret has graduated 6,673 (Six Thousand Six Hundred Seventy-Three) doctors, who have spread throughout the country and have devoted their knowledge to various institutions. both in the field of health services, education, research, as well as government doctors, private, TNI / POLRI and others.
