Faculty of Medicine Universitas Sebelas Maret (FK UNS) inaugurated graduates of the Specialist Doctor Education Program (PPDS) for October 2021 period, (21/10/2021). At this event, FK UNS released a total of 9 PPDS students with details: 1 person from the Surgery Study Program, 4 people from the Internal Medicine Study Program, and 4 people from the Venereology Dermatology Study Program. In the implementation of the PPDS release this time there was one participant who took part in the online event because he was carrying out his duties in Papua.

In this graduation ceremony, the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) was achieved by Dwi Adhi Nugraha, dr., Sp.P.D with a GPA of 3.87 from the Internal Medicine Study Program. In addition to winning the title of graduate with the highest GPA, this participant who was born in Subang, August 21, 1991, is also the youngest graduate at the age of 30 years and 2 months.

With the graduation of specialist doctors for the period of October 2021, the Faculty of Medicine, UNS, since its establishment in 1976, has graduated 1407 (one thousand four hundred and seven) specialist doctors, who have spread throughout the country and have devoted their knowledge to various agencies, both in the field of health services, education, research, as well as government, private, TNI/POLRI specialist doctors and others.

The Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K), in his speech said that “This is the stage for all of you to have a career, whether in your profession, in specialist or sub-specialist expertise, management or politics. Whatever it is, the job is a career stage that can be your choice, whether you want to stop as a specialist doctor or want to take your career even higher.”

Director of Dr Moewardi Hospital, Dr. Cahyono Hadi, dr., Sp.OG (K) who was also present at the release event advised that UNS alumni should be able to serve well, don't play around, maintain the integrity and good name of UNS and continue to develop themselves and their expertise.
