Collect Student Aspirations, the D4 Midwifery Study Program of FK UNS Holds a Discussion

The Midwifery Student Association (HIMADAN) of the Faculty of Medicine, Saturday (11/9/2021) held a Bureaucracy Workshop (SERABI) in 2021. The event, which is held online through online platform, is a mandatory work program that must be carried out once in every management.

According to the Head of HIMADAN FK UNS, Okti Indriyani Kahim, this event aims to gather student aspirations regarding the learning system during the pandemic. Therefore, it was expected to get the best solution so that student achievement can increase along with the better the existing learning system.

On this occasion, SERABI 2021 took 5 topics, namely:
1. Making learning modules for theoretical and practical courses.
2. Discussing the Ministry of Education and Culture's internet quota.
3. Student Field Practice System for the 2019 and 2020 batches.
4. Student difficulties in online skills lab.
5. Assessment system information.

Contacted separately, the Head of the D4 Midwifery Study Program for the Applied Undergraduate Program, Ika Sumiyarsi Sukamto, S.SiT., M.Kes, explained that online learning had many positive aspects but also had negative aspects. From the positive side, millennials were more familiar with electronic media in depth, both in type and function, such as zoom, google meet and others, so that in terms of time it could be effective and efficient.

It was further explained that in addition to the positive values above, there were also negative values such as the unprepared facilities owned by students and lecturers in online conditions, electronic equipment and internet networks that support this system, causing new problems such as there is no special room in the house that is designed soundproof, so that when learning online there is noise from outside. An unstable internet network might cause unclear and intermittent voices so that the social life between students and lecturers was also less warm, it differed from the communication that was carried out directly face to face.
