FK UNS Elective Program Workshop: "Students may choose elective courses in Semester VII"
(Wednesday, 21/4/2021), the emancipation of women began to exist for the actions of one of Indonesia's female heroes, Raden Ajeng (R.A.) Kartini. Who does not know this figure who is so active in fighting for the equality of women's rights. Reflecting on her life experience as a Javanese woman at that time, R.A. Kartini craved equality between men and women. He does not agree with the hereditary culture which makes a woman only passively in the course of life. In addition, he wanted to prove that women could replace men's roles. R.A. Kartini wanted to show that women are not only 'konco wingking', meaning that women can play a more role in the life of the nation and state, especially in the field of education. Women can also make life choices without being forced by their parents and women can also go to school as high as possible. The hard struggle of R.A. Kartini, who wanted the emancipation of women or the equality of status between women and men, which was carried out at that time yielded results, it is seen that the current era of emancipation has existed and has proven to be used as an example of a woman president in Indonesia, etc.
The commemoration of Kartini Day, which falls on every 21 April, is celebrated in different ways by Indonesians. To commemorate the heroine of the woman's emancipation.
