Saturday (3/4/2021) The volunteer training activity for Community Empowerment for Management and Rehabilitation of Covid-19 or better known as (Prevent Covid) was one of the research projects of the Research Group Disease Control (RGDC) team, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sebelas Maret ( FK UNS) chaired by Prof. Ari Natalia Probandari, dr., MPH., Ph.D, in which the activity took place with 2 methods, namely online and offline, located in Taman Sehat Rejosari (TASERO) with an open concept and implementing health protocols.

This volunteer training activity was attended by 85 online participants and 35 offline or face-to-face, where participants consisted of 80 Health Students and 40 cadres of Belang Wetan Village, Klaten Utara Village, which were the fostered areas of the FK UNS RGDC team. The material presented by dr. Akhyar Arifin, who is an alumnus of FK UNS in 1997, namely Independent Quarantine and Isolation Assistance, then continued with dr. Berlian Permata Sakti, who is also an alumnus of FK UNS in 2011, presented material with the theme Adaptation to new habits in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, discussions and questions and answers made the atmosphere more interactive.

This training activity was also held with the aim of making youth cadres and health students to provide education and assistance to residents related to issues, stigma, knowledge, and community attitudes with the Covid-19 virus in our environment, with the leading jargon, ‘Jogo Rogo, Jogo Keluargo dan Jogo Tonggo’ (means: take care of the body, take care of the family and take care of the neighbors). It was hoped that the activities carried out both online and offline can help the government in overcoming the spread of the Covid-19 virus outbreak.
