"Chronic Kidney Disease and Cardiovascular System"

Health is an invaluable treasure for us. We can feel this when we are sick. Because if we are sick it will spend a lot of time and money. Therefore, we must keep our bodies healthy, especially our kidneys.

Kidney is a very vital organ in our body. This is because the kidneys function as organ plays an important role in regulating acid-base balance, regulating blood pressure, stimulating the bone marrow to make red blood cells, helping to maintain calcium for bones. So, the role of the kidneys for our bodies is important. The Indonesian Nephrology Association (PERNEFRI) in Surakarta sees the need to hold a seminar on knowledge about the importance of kidney health to the public and medical online.

PERNEFRI held an online seminar with the theme Chronic Kidney Disease and Cardiovascular System for two days, from 6 to 7 January 2021 starting from 13.00 to 15.00 (Western Indonesian Time). For the first day, the location of the speaker was at Hotel Sunan Solo and the Moderator at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sebelas Maret (FK UNS) and the second day the location of the speaker was at the residence of dr. Wachid Putranto, Sp.PD-KGH., FINASIM and Moderator at the FK UNS Campus. The event was attended by 100 participants who were medical teams, educators, and students and other participants.

The first day of the event began with an opening by Prof. Dr. HM. Bambang Purwanto, dr., Sp.PD-KGH., FINASIM as the event moderator. Then proceed with the provision of the first material by dr. Ratih Tri Kusuma Dewi, Sp.PD-KGH., FINASIM with the topic Arrhythmia at CKD followed by the second speaker Dr. dr. Agung Susanto, Sp.PD-KGH., FINASIM with the topic of Nutritional Intake Approach in CKD Patients with Heart Disorders, the next speaker dr.Diding Heri Praseto, Sp.PD., FINASIM with the topic of Acute Coronary Syndrome in CKD and ended with a question and answer discussion.
The second day of the event was opened by the moderator then the first material was presented by the speaker, dr. Wachid Putranto, Sp.PD-KGH., FINASIM with the topic Anemia, CKD and Cardiovascular Events, then followed by the second speaker, dr. Aryo Suseno, Sp.PD., M.Kes., FINASIM with the topic Interpretation of Cardiac Marker Enzymes in CKD Patients. The last speaker on the last day, dr.Diding Heri Praseto, Sp.PD., FINASIM delivered his presentation with the topic Heart Failure at CKD and Discussion questions and answers. This seminar program was closed by the Moderartor at 15.00 (Western Indonesia Time).
