"A Lecturer Must Adapt Learning Methods"

Studio Management Workshop and Studio Handover was held on Thursday, January 7, 2021. This event started at 10.00 (Western Indonesian Time) until 12.00 (Western Indonesian Time) on the 7th floor of the Medical Education Building, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sebelas Maret (FK UNS). Prof. Dr. Hartono, dr., M.Si as the Director of the UNS Hospital, along with the Dean and Head of Study Programs and all FK UNS lecturers attended this event, which was held via online and offline.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P (K) as the Dean of FK UNS conveyed that the purpose of this studio was to make a learning video and other activities. Whether there was pandemic or not, this learning studio was needed to exist. In other universities, many of them have started to produce video learnings in virtual learning or in real cases. Another goal was that Lecturers are required to always adapt to learning methods. The method of learning that in the old days used a chalkboard then developed using an Over Head Projector (OHP), and developed again using Power Points and so on, this time the learning method uses E-Learning, in which the students can access and do not need to attend via luring because they can access live online or in the form of a recording. It was hoped that each lecturer would be able to make learning videos either closed or accessible to the public.

The event continued with the handover of the studio and simulation of video making and a studio manager workshop.
