Mini Simposium International Epilepsy Day
International Epilepsy Day is an agenda set by the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) to increase public attention to epilepsy, both for epilepsy patients and their families, as well as various aspects of life and rules related to epilepsy. This activity is commemorated every year on the second Monday in February.
In order to participate in commemorating the International Epilepsy Day, the FK UNS neurology department and the Special Doctor Education Program (PPDS) study program of Neurology collaborated with the Surakarta branch of the Indonesian Neurology Specialists Association (Perdossi) of dr. Moewardi Hospital and the family of UNS Neurology alumni (KA-NEURONS) held a mini symposium on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the Parang Kusumo room, RSUD dr. Moewardi. This activity involved the Branch Office of the Regional VII Education Office of Central Java Province in Surakarta and PMI, so that the SD (Elementary School), SMP (Junior High School) and SMA (Senior High School) teachers in Surakarta, members of PMR SMP and SMA in Surakarta and members of the KSR PMI Surakarta could attend as participants. The Head of the Regional Education Office Branch Office of Central Java Province in Surakarta, Suyanta, S.Pd., M.Pd also anttended this event and he even gave a speech.
